Fat Loss Shortcuts?

If you're reading this, it means you know what the internet is. If you know what the internet is, there's a 100% chance you've read about the "ultimate diet" or those "fat busting foods". Heck, even if you'd never been on the internet in your life, you've still heard these claims. They are everywhere! TV commercials, magazine ads, billboards. There's even fat loss ads above the toilets in some bathrooms. It's practically impossible to escape being bombarded by these claims.

The truth about fat loss shortcuts

The good news is, I have the answer you've been looking for. I have the secret. Want to know what it is? Well, the truth is, you're wasting your time, wasting your money, wasting your effort, and possibly even gaining weight because of these "shortcuts"! Think about this. What if there was a pill that was directly responsible for helping people reach their dream body and maintain it. If such a thing existed, wouldn't everyone be taking it? Remember what your momma taught you. If it's too good to be true, it probably is. Short cuts, in regards to fitness, are no exception.

The skinny on getting skinny

There are studies that show anywhere from 70% failure rates up to as high as 95% failure rates for diets where success is defined as losing the goal amount of weight and keeping it off for several years. But why? Why are success rates so low? When people engage in these absurd diets to achieve their goals, there's simply no way to maintain it. Think about it this way. Let's say you have poor eating habits that made you overweight. You then go on some ridiculous diet that helps you lose all the weight you wanted. Then, since you've reached your goal, there's no reason to keep murdering yourself on this crazy diet, right? You decide to go back to your pre diet eating habits. You magically become overweight again. But, not only do you gain back the weight you lost, you may gain back more of the diet you were on has suppressed your metabolism. So the end result is you are now eating the same as you were before but are even more overweight. The problem is, the dieters didn't learn anything so they didn't know how to eat post diet. 

The REAL way to get lean and mean

Now for the good news. I actually have the real way to be a lean, mean, fat burning machine. Educate yourself. I'm sorry if my good news sounded depressing to you but this really is the only real way to get lean and stay that way. The reason this is good news is because my goal is to teach you how to do this for yourself. Whether you just read along and watch as I post blogs/vlogs or if you hire me for a couple of months and then drop me because you decide you've learned all you need to know for your goals, I count both of those as victories. I don't measure my success by clients I've retained. My goal is to teach you everything you need and if I do my job right, you eventually won't need me anymore and that doesn't make me sad. It makes me happy. If you learn the necessary information to control your outward appearance, it can be truly life changing.
